The purpose of AngelHart Network is to reduce food insecurity and meet the basic needs of  students in the Inland Empire. This allows students to focus time and attention on reaching their full academic potential. Our network of community stakeholders, volunteers, and educators work to provide backpacks full of shelf-stable items for students to sustain a healthy diet during times food is not accessible at school. AngelHart further meets the needs of underserved students by providing hygiene items, clothing, blankets, and supplies to support learning.

The link between adequate nutrition and academic achievement is undeniable and research-based. Hungry children cannot learn, and each child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential. In working to build a sustainable abundance of food for these children, students will not go to bed hungry over the weekend and breaks. We believe communities thrive when people are nourished in body and mind.
